Dr. Baker is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, as well as an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He completed his residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Baker was one of the 20 investigative plastic and reconstructive surgeons across America selected to participate in Mentor Corporation's Core Gel Study in 2001. The data was gathered from patients receiving primary and revision breast augmentation only. Dr. Baker was active in supplying data of 44 patients out of 551 primary breast augmentation patients nationally, who participated in Mentor 's study. The findings of this study were instrumental in the FDA's final approval of silicone gel breast implants on Friday, November 17, 2006 |
