Superficial Chemical Peels | Parisian Skin Peel | Microdermabrasion | Dothan Courtnie Heatherly-Parrish, licensed esthetician, joined our staff in September of 2009. Courtnie completed her aesthetic training in 2002 from The Florida College of Natural Health. She provides a variety of chemical peels, dermaplaning and customized skin care treatments based on personalized skin analysis.

Courtnie chose her career in esthetics to coincide with her own personal beliefs in health and beauty. Her enthusiasm is driven from the results-oriented treatments and skin care regimes that she offers her patients.She takes pride in knowing she is making a positive impact on her patients' lives and makes sure her clients feel rejuvenated and pampered when they leave.

Tara graduated from The Aveda Institute of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her passion for skin care fits with her long career in the aesthetic field.

Tara enjoys solving her clients skin care concerns by finding just the right skin care regimen based on personalized skin analysis and goals. She provides therapeutic skin care through multiple types of chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and customized skin care treatments. Not only does Tara pamper her clients but she enjoys the opportunity to educate them in what it takes to achieve beautiful healthy skin.

Superficial Chemical Peels

BioMedic - Micro Peel-Glycolic Peel (20%, 30%, 50%) - Alpha-hydroxy acids derived from organic substances are applied to help shed the top layer of cells, revealing newer healthier cells. Hydrating effects make it the perfect peel for drier skin types. The glycolic peel is an alpha-hydroxy acid which increases cellular turnover which aids in refining pore sizes, smoothing fine lines, hyperpigmentation and improving all over skin texture.
BioMedic Micro Peel Plus-Salicylic Peel (20%, 30%) - This Salicylic peel is a beta-hydroxy acid targeting bacteria and congestion on the skin resulting in fewer breakouts improving skin’s texture. Leaves the skin more even and helps to refine pore size.
BioMedic Lactic Acid Peel (2%) - Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that lightly exfoliates while assisting in providing moisture and hydration to the skin.
BioMedic LHA Peel - A beta-hydroxy acid peel that improves skin discoloration due to hyperpigmentation and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This peel refines the skins texture and tone. Decreases blackheads and refines the appearance of pore size, controlling breakouts.

Parisian Skin Peel - Microdermabrasion

A mechanical means of exfoliation. By using a direct stream of very fine crystals and a mild suction, the gentle abrasive action removes the dead outer layer of your skin while bringing smoother, softer skin to the surface.

Advanced Chemical Peels

gloModified Jessner (14%) - A synergy of exfoliants (14% lactic, 14% salicylic, 14% resorcinol) that help reduce the appearance of freckles, acne, and mild cases of rosacea. This peel provides exceptionally strong antioxidants to assist with aging, acne, dehydrated, sun damaged or hyperpigmented skin.
gloTCA (15%) - This aggressive peel is designed to improve the appearance of aging skin, smooth fine lines and enhance skin tone. Powerful antioxidants are added along with a probiotic yogurt extract which de-stresses the skin.
gloAlpha Beta (17%) - A peel designed to refine surface texture, lessen the appearance of discoloration while clearing acneic disturbances in the skin. A blend of alpha hydroxy acids (17% glycolic and 17% lactic) and beta hydroxy acids (17% salicylic) are used to benefit multiple skin types along with brighteners and lighteners to enhance and even the skin tone.
gloTriplex - This peel is also designed to refine surface texture, lessen the appearance of discoloration while clearing acneic disturbances in the skin. A combination of effective exfoliants (30% glycolic, 10% TCA, 10% salicylic) are utilized to create a fresh appearance, along with mushroom extract which firms and tightens the skin.

Obagi^® Blue Peel

This peel uses a low concentration of trichloroacetic acid mixed with a special blue base to slow penetration, allowing the monitoring of the appropriate depth to effectively remove the thin surface layers of aged and damaged skin.
