BOTOX® Cosmetic

When you smile, laugh, frown, or look puzzled, you contract the muscles of your face. Injectable Fillers

As we age, our skin begins to lose its fullness, and sagging, wrinkling and hollowing occur. If you wish to enhance or restore facial contours, or reduce the appearance of lines and creases, injections with soft tissue fillers can help. These treatments, often made from hyaluronic acid gel and other natural substances, are injected directly into the skin to restore fullness and smooth out wrinkles and other fine lines. The injected substance supports the skin and restores the volume lost over time. We offer the following fillers:

JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel

JUVÉDERM® is an injectable gel that gently reverses many signs of aging in the face by replacing the hyaluronic acid your skin has lost, adding volume to smooth away facial wrinkles and folds. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body that works with collagen and elastin to give volume and support to the skin. JUVÉDERM® is a non-surgical way to smooth out the lines along the sides of your nose and mouth. Because it is non-animal-based and highly biocompatible, no pre-treatment testing is needed. Results could last 6-12 months but may vary for each individual. Ask Dr. Baker if JUVÉDERM® is right for you.

Restylane®

When we are young our skin is smooth and elastic with a healthy glow. As we age, our ability to maintain that smoothness and elasticity diminishes, resulting in skin that becomes drier, thinner and less able to replenish itself. Our body's natural collagen and hyaluronic acid levels decrease and our skin becomes looser. This leads to our skin wrinkling and appearing older than it should.

Approved by the FDA, Restylane® is designed to match your skin, smoothing wrinkles, sculpting lips or shaping facial contours. With its unique ability to bind with water, Restylane® is able to perform for many months in your skin. Restylane is FDA-approved for the treatment of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). Restylane® will add shape and volume to these areas.

Latisse®

Full, natural-looking eyelashes can now be achieved through a prescription treatment called Latisse®. Latisse® is the first and only prescription eyelash treatment approved by the FDA to help grow longer, fuller and darker eyelashes.

Latisse® contains bimatoprost, an active ingredient that improves the appearance of your lashes. Research suggests that the growth of eyelashes occurs by increasing the percent of hairs in, and the duration of, the anagen (or growth) phase. Lashes can grow longer, thicker and darker because bimatoprost can also prolong this growth phase.

This prescription medication is applied topically to the base of the eyelashes once a day, after makeup and contact lenses have been removed. You may begin seeing the results of Latisse® after 8 weeks, with full results appearing after 16 weeks.
